A 44-year-old woman charged with murder made her first appearance in Saskatoon provincial court on Monday.
Debbie Lynn Rodgers is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of Adrienne Ermine, 37, of Sturgeon Lake.
Ermine died following a stabbing at a home on the 200 block of Avenue Q North on the city's west side.
Police and ambulance workers found Ermine unconscious at the home. She later died in hospital.
Rodgers has been remanded in custody and will be back in court next week.
The death is Saskatoon's third homicide noted by police in 2010.
