Vipul Shah, who had plans to shoot a romantic number featuring Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Action Replay, has cancelled his plans. The director had planned a Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore-style song for his film and had even asked music director Pritam to compose a song for him.
“Shreya Ghoshal has rendered the number. Vipul wanted to shoot the song in the 70s’ style and had finalised Ooty as his location. He had everything in place including the dates, but the song had to be cancelled due to bad weather. Now the film is scheduled to release in the next three months and Akki and Ash have no dates to spare for the song. Vipul is extremely disappointed that the song will not be shot anymore,” said a source.
