French girl spills on Neo

A YOUNG French student is the latest to claim that film-maker Jack Neo hit on her - when she was only 16 more than five years ago.

Maelle Meurzec, now 21, told The New Paper in an interview at her Upper East Coast road home on Tuesday night, that the 50-year-old movie director hit on her while she was acting in his movie I Do I Do in Nov 2004.

From what she thought was a 'friendly' wrap around her shoulders on the first day they met, she claimed that Neo continued to make more aggressive advances on her even after the filming had ended, including sending her 30 SMSes, and repeated attempts to take her out to dinner at hotels.

The pretty Singaporean citizen of French descent, then a model with MC Models, did not mince her words in the TNP interview, calling Neo 'a bit of a creep', 'a sleazebag' and 'a jerk'.

The final straw came on Christmas Day 2004 when Neo sent her an SMS, saying that he wished they could be together. Upset, Maelle told her mother, Ms Agnes Meurzec, 51, about it. The family also decided to make a police report if Neo continue to harass the girl.

Neo stopped messaging her and they never met again. Neo's daughter, the eldest of his four children, is two years younger than Maelle.

At least 10 more women are reported to have been linked to Neo since his affair with 22-year-old Wendy Chong first broke last weekend when the freelance model showed up at his Pasir Ris semi-detached house last Friday, demanding to see his wife, Madam Irene Kng, 46.

Third girl talks about Neo's tricks

Wendy Chong and Foyce Le Xuan were not the only girls that Jack Neo had hit on in the past.

Lianhe Wanbao has since dug up more stories on the director’s scandolous past, since it broke the story on the affair between Neo and 22-year-old model Chong earlier on

Two more girls were added to his list of prey, with the first one being a rich young girl who was nicknamed “Singapore’s Kathy Chow”.

She was introduced to Neo through a mutual friend. For a month, he had called her.

He eventually gave up when she showed no sign of reciprocating his feelings.

According to The New Paper, Neo had tried to woo a 16-year-old five years ago.

French student Maelle Meurzec, now 21, was one of the extras in the 2004 movie I Do I Do.

The director had reportedly put his hand around her during their first meeting and later bombarded her with text messages, asking for a dinner date in a hotel.

Maelle said she thought nothing of the director’s gestures, until she received a text message from him on Christmas day in 2004, saying that he wished to be with her.

Maille eventually confided in her mother, Agnes Meurzex, 51, and the family even planned to lodge a police report if things got out of hand.

Neo stopped contacting her after that, she said.

Neo’s sex scandal had affected his public image, with many expressing shock and disgust over the affair.

Now it has even cost him his endorsement deal with electronics giant Mitsubishi Electric Asia, reported channelnewsasia.com.

The company is removing any of its advertisements which feature Neo, said a spokesperson. On top of that, the contract between Mitsubishi Electric Asia and J-Team Productions will not be renewed.

Bee Cheng Hiang, Goh Joo Hin and maid agency Jack Focus Helpers – of which Neo had been a spokesperson – had yet to confirm whether they would continue their collaborations with the filmmaker.
