Suchitra Krishanmurthy walked out of the promotional event of Mittal Vs Mittal held at Bandra recently. Suchitra was reportedly unhappy with the posters of the film as her picture was relegated to a corner, while Rituparna Sengupta was prominent in the poster.
Director Karan Razdan apparently called up Shekhar Kapur and spoke to him at length about Suchitra’s behaviour. Karan Razdan, Suchitra and Shekhar Kapoor have been friends for over 15 years now.
When contacted, Karan Razdan said, “She walked out of the conference because she was not happy with her placement in the posters. But we have worked hard on the designs and I cannot change them. If you ask me, she has been given enough prominence in the posters, I don’t know why she is feeling otherwise. Our friendship dates back to several years and I am sure this will not affect our personal relationship.”
