Most of us would recommend a movie because Robert Pattinson is in it. So how would Rob promote his own movie? Well Rob, who is plugging his upcoming flick Bel Ami, reportedly would recommend it because it is full of sex!
“It is like the complete antithesis of what you normally think period dramas are about, Rob said in an MTV interview. “In Paris, everybody was just going nuts. It was like the 1980s. Sex was kind of a weapon and a tool, and it’s odd… There’s something very mercenary about it in a lot of ways.”
The Twilight Saga star is expected to be fogging up camera lenses as filming commenced on the Guy de Maupassant’s novel adaptation, which has Rob playing lothario Georges Duroy who beds lots of women to get ahead in life. This is a total turn around to the loyal and sometimes overly needy vampire Edward Cullen.
