Ash may star in Santoshi’s next

The year 2009 ended on a great note for Rajkumar Santoshi, what with the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif-starrer Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani smashing all box-office records. And now lady luck continues to smile on Santoshi. Buzz has it that Santoshi will be successful in signing up Aishwarya Rai for his next film.

According to our source, after Khakee, Santoshi has been wanting to work with Ash in a film. He even had a script ready, but things did not work out for both of them.

The director however, has a new script and is hopeful that he will be able to convince Ash to do the film, in which the female protagonist has a strong role.”When contacted, Rajkumar Santoshi said, “I am going to meet Ash in the coming week. The character is just apt for her. Like in our earlier film, Khakee Ash will play a radical role in this film too. But it is too early to divulge the details.”
