The 29-year-old suspect had led the investigating team to her mother's house in southern Taiwan on Monday.
She showed them how she pushed her mother down the staircase, causing her to die of internal bleeding in the head in November 2008 - two months after the mother signed up for an insurance plan.
She received some NT$5.05mil (RM540,233) compensation for her mother's death.
She, however, remained silent when reporters asked if she regretted what she had done, reported Taiwan's Now News.
A prosecutor said the suspect cried during the re-enactment.
The suspect, a habitual gambler, was reported to have planned the killings and used the insurance claims to pay off her debts.

Earlier the same day, she also led the investigating team to a hospital in Nantou where she was believed to have killed her husband Liu Yu-Hang, 27, and mother-in-law Zhen Hui-Sheng, 47.
Liu and Zhen died in July and May last year respectively.
Wearing a helmet, the suspect arrived at the hospital in a police vehicle on Monday.
There, she told the team how she poisoned the mother and son, who were warded for food poisoning.
She also cried throughout the process.
The brutal murders were only exposed when the insurance company suspected something amiss after three of the suspect's close family members died in a similar manner within a year.
The company reported to the police, who made the arrest in December.
Police seized some documents, insecticide and drugs including sedatives from the suspect's home and her mother's house.
