Pre-school kids claim molest by teacher

A temporary teacher at a kindergarten in Kuantan was reported to have molested his female students in front of the class.

The teacher, in his 20s, had kissed and touched the girls' private parts.

The incident was brought to light when a five-year-old girl complained to her mother over the phone recently.

She said the teacher at her kindergarten, which is attached to a Chinese primary school, had touched her private part.

The mother, who is working outstation, was shocked and rushed home immediately.

She complained to the kindergarten administrators.

It is learnt more than 10 girls in the class have fallen victims to the teacher, China Press reported.

According to the children, the teacher would close the door when he stepped into the classroom.

Then, in front of the other pupils, he would carry the girls - one at a time - to sit on his laps and kiss their cheeks.

He also put his hands under the girls' skirts and touched their private parts.

The kindergarten had arranged for a meeting between parents and the teacher upon being notified of the matter.

At the meeting, the teacher had initially denied the allegations.

But he later admitted to have only kissed and touched the girls' face.

The kindergarten has handed over the case to the Pahang Education Department for further action.
