Actress Sunaina could soon be seen opposite Arulnidhi, grandson of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and son of MK.Tamizharasu. Arulnidhi debuts as the lead in a film directed by Pandiraj of Pasanga fame. Arulnidhi is also believed to be an aspiring director who has had a brief stint in direction. The chief minister’s other grandsons Udhayanidhi and Dayanidhi have chosen to produce films. But relatives reportedly persuaded Arulnidhi to shift to the front of the camera instead. Sources reveal that Sunaina was selected after sifting through the names of several top heroines. She is awaiting the release of Yaadhumagi where she plays a woman-centric role. She will also share screen space with Bharath in Thirutthani directed by Perarasu. The new movie produced under Arulnidhi’s home banner has Taj Noor from AR Rahman’s school debuting as music director. Mahesh Mutthusamy is the cinematographer.
